Training: plastic material welders

Pipes, fittings, sheet, membrane

22 April 2020

The plastics sector (PE, PP, PVC, PA, PVDF ....) has been expanding strongly for decades and requires personnel involved in competent welding activities to obtain the best results.

The main reference standards are:

UNI 9737

EN 13067

The following processes are defined:

  • thermal element welding;
  • electrofusion welding;
  • hot gas welding;
  • extrusion welding;
  • solvent welding.

These processes apply to:

sheet;

pipes;

fittings;

membranes.

UNI EN 13067: European Certification

TTR Institute also provides a course that allows obtaining certification European to welders with procedures available to heating elements for contact with mechanical equipment and electrofusion of pipes and fittings in polyethylene for the supply of gaseous fuels, water and other fluids in pressure. This course can be supported simultaneously in the one according to UNI 9737 and with the relevant additional evidence the welder can obtain both certifications (UNI 9737 and UNI EN 13067) with a single examination.

UNI 10761

Certification of coordinators for welding, laying and testing activities on polyethylene networks for gas, water and other fluids in pressure.

  • New certification
  • Renewal of certification
