The plastics sector (PE, PP, PVC, PA, PVDF, etc.) has been growing constantly for decades and requires qualified personnel in welding activities to ensure the best results.
Our courses cover the welding of polyethylene, polypropylene, PVC and other materials' pipes, fittings, sheets and membranes, with the aim of preparing welders to pass qualification exams.
The main reference standards for qualifications are UNI 9737 and EN 13067.
We organize courses at our Busto Arsizio (VA) headquarters, at our support locations, or directly at your company, anywhere in Italy.

Standard UNI 10761 defines the requirements, skills, and responsibilities of personnel responsible for coordinating welding activities for polyethylene (PE) pipes and fittings. These activities concern the construction, testing, and maintenance of piping systems intended for the conveyance of combustible gases, water, and other pressurized fluids.
The standard establishes the criteria for the training, qualification, and certification of this professional figure, providing guidelines for the technical management, planning, and control of welding operations.
Both theoretical and practical parts are planned for the course and qualification exam according to UNI 10761
The courses are aimed at personnel working in the plastics sector who carry out welding activities on pipes, fittings, sheets, and membranes made of materials such as PE, PP, PVC, PA, and PVDF. The objective is to provide adequate preparation to pass the qualification exams required by the reference standards.
During the courses, the main welding processes for plastics are addressed, including thermal element welding, electrofusion, hot gas, extrusion, and solvent welding, in relation to the materials and intended applications.
The main reference standards for the qualification of plastic welders are UNI 9737 and EN 13067, which define the requirements for training and the evaluation of operational skills.
The course is aimed at welding coordinators, specialized welders who intend to access coordination roles, site managers and site managers, as well as companies operating in the gas, water and pressurized fluid sectors. The training and examination path includes theoretical and practical parts, as established by the UNI 10761 standard.
